I’m Lacy Patton, a photographer based in Wendell, North Carolina. While many find their way to photography as a hobby, my path was driven by technical precision. With a degree in Commercial Photography from Appalachian State, I don't just 'take' pictures. I understand light, composition, and the technical precision required to handle a fast-paced wedding day. From dark reception halls to high-noon ceremonies, your memories are in expert hands.
As a wife and mother, I view your wedding day through the lens of legacy. My favorite moment is right after the ceremony when the stress melts away and you get to enjoy each other as newlyweds. Those "Holy cow, we're married!" moments are why I do what I do.
To provide a truly boutique experience, I now offer sessions in my private in-home studio in Wendell. Whether for a weather-proof bridal session or a high-fashion engagement look, this space is where we create timeless portraits in a relaxed, editorial environment.

How many photographers will be there?
I serve as the Lead Photographer for every wedding. For couples who desire multiple angles or have a large guest count, I bring along a curated professional second shooter from my trusted network to ensure every moment is captured.
When will you start taking photos on our wedding day?
As we get closer to your date, I will send a detailed questionnaire to help us create a custom timeline. Generally, I arrive two hours before the ceremony to capture the finishing touches of you both getting ready and your bridal party portraits.
Why do you take so many photos before the ceremony?
You have spent so much time and intentionality planning this celebration, I want you to actually enjoy it! By capturing the majority of your group photos before the ceremony, you have the option to join your cocktail hour or enjoy some private time together as newlyweds.
What is your image turnaround time?
I pride myself on having some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry. While I hand-edit every single image in your final gallery, I know you are anxious to see them! You will receive a sneak peek within 48 hours, and for the last ten years, every one of my couples has received their full final gallery in under two weeks.
Do you have backup equipment?
Absolutely. While we always hope for a perfect day, I carry backup cameras and lenses at all times to account for any technical trouble. Furthermore, all images are backed up immediately following your wedding to ensure your memories are safe in multiple locations.
What if these packages don't perfectly fit my needs?
My collections serve as a professional starting point. If your wedding day requires something more bespoke, I am more than happy to build a custom package or adjust hourly coverage to perfectly suit your vision.
Do you offer indoor sessions?
Yes! In addition to on-location shoots, I now offer sessions in my private in-home studio in Wendell. This is a perfect, weather-proof option for editorial engagement sessions, bridal portraits, or intimate boudoir photography.
How do we make it official?
The booking process is quick and easy. Once you’ve selected your collection, I will send over an online quote and contract. You can sign and pay your retainer electronically to hold your date, and then the celebration officially begins!
